Pondo

Pondos:

A Species of Aliens resembling Earthen Canines
They are somewhat intelligent- at least enough so to realize their similarities between their own species and several found on Earth. They are not at all violent, and often pose as pets.

The only unnatural features they tend to exhibit is their four-way split mouth. and their abnormally large round eyes.
Most don't grow to be much larger than a common husky- if mutations occur, one may grow to be around the size of a st. Bernard or an Irish Wolfhound.

A Pondo can be Male or Female, or Gendernull (lacking either sex)
Physical Sex is not always a necessity, however, as Pondo as a species are capable of Asexual reproduction, via oviposition. While Sexual Reproduction is a possibility, it is fairly uncommon, as the species as a whole has come to understand that their Earthen brethren, Canines, are incapable of such a physical feat. 

Pondos do not react well with certain human foods- most being vegetables and various spices and / or peppers.
Their diet mostly consists of Meat, Fish and some Dairy.
