ICEJIN GOD

An idea I've been tampering with for a while now. A quote on quote 'God' of the Icejin / Arcosian Race. The design itself isn't 100% as I envisioned it (tbh I've never had a clear image of what I thought they'd look like) all I can say for sure is I was going for a mix of SU's Diamonds + the Xenomorph queen. Particularly with the head-crest.

It might change in the future, if I can get a better image of them in my head, but this will do for now.

This is Glossolalia! A pure-blooded Icejin / Arcosian who runs along a personal storyline I've been developing for some time. I've seen a lot of other people in the DBZ Fandom have their own headcanons as to where Frieza's race started out, whether there's more of them, ect. In my headcanon / storyline, Icejin / Arcosians, or at least what they are now were the result of interbreeding between a heavily-armored theropod-like species, and a Race of powerful Humanoid lifeforms (my Kindariku species. it's in their info that they're written along the DBZ universe) In my storyline, Frieza's kind originally colonized on the Kindariku homeworld, upon being established as a new Race all together (the mix of the two. they weren't quite like the theropods, but they didn't quite resemble Kindariku either) and were given a position of power by the being whom ruled over the Kindariku homeworld.

The Icejin were given a "Kingdom" of their own (the Kindariku homeworld functions similarly to the United States', the planet itself and it's continents are sectioned into various Kingdoms, all which are governed by various individuals and their families, who keep the separate areas in order, while the ruler of the planet itself tends to more important matters) In Kindariku society, the most powerful being remains in control, and of the Icejin Kingdom, an individual named Tyrius (Glossolalia's late Father) and his twin brother Iris were in control. The two were equal in power, and because they came from the same family, they were allowed to rule alongside one another (in any other situation it would result in a fight to the death.) Tyrius (pronounced TEE-RUS btw) was essentially given everything they desired- because the ruler of the Kindariku Homeworld was infatuated with him.

The feeling was mutual for the most part, though Tyrius would often take advantage of their Queen's affection. Eventually it came to the point that he desired to colonize other worlds, upon being inspired by the Kindariku doing so. His Queen explained that they only did so to relocate nearly half of the population (Kindariku are an extremely amorous race. They have a habit of overpopulating their home planet, and thus conquer other habitable worlds in their solar system and transfer at least half of the current population there) however Tyrius remained unmoved with his decision. Upon being given approval, Tyrius, as well as half of the Icejin / Arocsian citizens, accompanied by a team of Imperial Kindariku Scouts were transferred to a sizable planet that had recently been taken over (this planet was eventually renamed; 'Planet Dyo'jsin'. Dyo'sjin being Kindariku slang for 'Home of Icejin')

There was a sizable amount of Icejin / Arcosian citizens who remained on the Kindariku homeworld, however. The population has grown since, and, many Icejin can be found on the Kindariku homeworld (if visited). Due to the current ruler's infatuation with the species- Icejin citizens valued more than common, royal or imperial Kindariku. Most Icejin citizens are kept in the palace, with the Queen, and are pampered beyond belief. These Icejin cannot be compared to Frieza or any of his lineage- as these Icejin have never experienced battle. They've lived a lavish life, spending most days barely needing to lift a finger. For most, the battle potential is there, however nothing is done with it. The Queen became obsessed with Icejin kind after being left by Tyrius, who, while he felt attraction to her, had more desire to start an Empire of their own.

Tyrius ruled this planet, later conquering others nearby as well, until he was old in age. It was then that he relinquished control to his eldest child, Glossolalia (as seen here), whose figure was considered god-like, thus often being described 'as a god' by those who met them. Glossolalia never considered themselves to be a deity, despite their power or stature; Glossolalia was the result of two Icejin / Arcosian fetuses fusing together during early development, resulting in unusual body proportions. Born with Four Arms and Four Eyes, Glossolalia grew twice the size expected for a normal Icejin. In his birth (true) form, Glossolalia stands at approximately Twenty-five feet tall (for comparison to other Dragon Ball Z characters see here: www.mrinitialman.com/OddsEnds/… ) and his power is unimaginable. Glossolalia is so powerful, that they've deemed themselves 'unfit' to fight.

Glossolalia is composed and rational. Due to their power, their spent many, many years training themselves to deal with anger in positive ways, so as to avoid bringing destruction upon others who did not / do not deserve it. Despite not wanting to, they are willing to fight others, when or if necessary.  Kold (not King Cold, fyi. They are related, however), one of Glossolalia's eldest children, was extremely arrogant and power-hungry during his adolescence. After years of training frustration, Kold challenged his Father for the throne, claiming that he would 'run their Kingdom the 'right' way'. He was supported by many rebellious Icejin, including Kold's mate, Ora, and several of their siblings. Glossolalia, of course, defeated Kold and his allies with little to no effort. He was saddened, more than he was frustrated on that day. Glossolalia forgave Kold, and his allies, despite their rebellion.

In a fit of rage, Kold swore vengeance upon his Father, later in life. He swore that he would return with an army, powerful enough to destroy him. With that being said, Kold, his mate, Ora, and the band of rebellious Icejin he'd rallied to aid him in his takeover attempt fled. They fled to a distant Planet that Kold had been given permission to conquer- and Kold began his own empire there. Thus, the Kold Clan was born. The other Icejin who accompanied Kold eventually started Clans of their own- later becoming familes of subservient soldiers that served the Kold Clan in present day.

It is unsurprising, if Kold's descendants are unaware of his Father, or his past families Empire. Upon establishing his own, Kold quickly banned any mention of his Father, and anyone who of him in a positive light, hinting that they were still loyal to their previous monarch, were executed without hesitation. That being said, descendants of himself, and the Icejin who served him remained unaware of their Families origin, some often believing that they were simply all their kind had to offer. Glossolalia, for the most part, is unaware of /most of/ his descendants. He knows of Frieza, and his Family, but is not aware of the connection that they share.

That's as much as I'm going to go into for now- because if I kept going I'd have a literal book for a description. All I'm gonna say rn is that I have a plot- basically a random fighter comes to Earth- not an Icejin, a new species. I don't plan to go in detail about them, but they know of Glossolalia and their empire. This fighter obviously gets into it Goku and the Z Fighters, but Frieza, Cooler and their Father show up and interrupt the Fight. The mystery fighter was never there to cause trouble, but they look shady so the Z Fighters attacked, mystery fighter fought back, and eventually Goku stepped in.

Basically, the mystery Fighter helps Goku take the Cold Family down and apparently- they'd been showing up, escaping hell with ease the last few months and Goku seemed to be growing tired of dealing with them. Mystery fighter then describes the 'Icejin God' and explains that they might be willing to help, therefore suggesting that Goku should make a trip to the Icejin planet. I'm not gonna spoil it anymore- but basically Goku goes there any surprisingly everyone is super nice (in comparison to Frieza, and the other Icejin Goku has met)

I've been holding this in for a long time- but it's going to be a long time before I do anything with it because I wanted it to be an animation- and I need to learn how to animate before I can start.
